You watched one sourdough video back in 2020 and Facebook still thinks you’re a baker. Now you can finally set the record straight.
Facebook is rolling out “Your algorithm”, a space where you can add and manage the topics you want to see in Feed and Reels, in your own words. You’ll find it in the three-dot menu, which Meta has updated so these controls are easier to reach.
There’s more. When you tap “Interested” or “Not interested” on a post, Facebook may ask a follow-up question about what you did or didn’t like. Answer in plain language and your recommendations update in real time, within the same session.
For brands, the message is simple: people can now tell Facebook exactly what they want to see, so content that matches real interests will go further.
