Instagram is rolling out a new option that lets users add posts they’ve been tagged in directly to their main profile grid. You can add them from the tag notification, the post itself or your Tagged tab, and remove them later without affecting the original post.
It is a small update, but a pretty useful one. Instead of awkwardly reposting a great group photo just because someone else posted it first, you can now simply add it to your own profile.
For creators and brands, it also opens up another way to showcase collaborations and campaign content without needing to republish the same post. It gives people a little more control over how their profile looks, without changing where the original content lives.
