Step into a world where green screens are a thing of the past!
Instagram introduces a generative AI-powered background editing tool called "Backdrop," accessible by tapping the button at the top of a new Story.
Users can create entirely new images by selecting prompts like "chased by dinosaurs" or "surrounded by puppies." Additionally, when a user posts a Story with the new background, others will see a "Try it" sticker to use the image generation tool.
The feature is currently available for US users only.
