LinkedIn has always been the place people give out career advice for free. Now some of them can send an invoice.
The platform is rolling out a new creator Dashboard that brings drafts, scheduled and published posts, audience insights and earning options into one place. You can access it through your profile picture in the mobile app, and it’s going global over the coming weeks. Premium subscribers also get AI-powered suggestions for brand partnerships, while brands get new “Creator Marketplace” filters to find creators by audience, expertise and content format.
When it comes to earnings, LinkedIn is testing “In-Stream Ads”, which pays creators when pre-roll ads run before eligible videos. Through Advice Sessions, Business Premium subscribers can offer free or paid one-to-one consultations, with booking, payment and video calls all managed on LinkedIn. No more juggling three apps to get paid for one call.
Both earning tools are US-only for now, but the Dashboard is going global.
