TikTok is adding more ways for people to respond to videos, including voice comments, polls and photo carousels. Voice comments can be up to 60 seconds, while users can add up to nine photos to a single comment.
The move makes the comments section feel less like an afterthought and more like another part of the content itself. Instead of simply typing a reaction, users can now respond with their voice, images or even a poll.
For creators and brands, that could mean more opportunities to turn a video into an actual conversation. And with polls now available to all creators, there is a even more reason to ask the audience questions rather than just talk at them.
TikTok's comments just got a lot harder to keep boring.
