Meta is taking a huge leaf from Twitter’s book, as users buckle up to take their presence on Instagram and Facebook to the next level with Meta Verified, which will soon be available for Threads too.

Meta Verified offers many perks, ranging from proactive account protection, exclusive features like stickers and stars, as well as direct account support. 

However, as a MENA-based user, you still need to join the waitlist to get the sought-after blue badge. Once approved, you go through a verification process that requires a government-issued ID and, where available, a selfie video. 

Mind you, Meta Verified is only available for individuals aged 18 or above and is not yet available for businesses.
