Elon Musk is pampering his star talents
Looks like Twitter is feeling mighty generous – Elon Musk’s long-awaited ad revenue share program has finally arrived to reward Blue subscribers who’ve been slaying the tweet game.
Twitter’s latest monetization scheme, dubbed the Creator Ads Revenue Sharing program, doles out incentivizing amounts to creators based on the number and impressionability of replies beneath their tweets.
Some creators have already reported receiving substantial payments, with initial payout chunks ranging from $2,236 to $24,877.
Eligibility criteria for the program include having a verified account and scoring a minimum of five million impressions on your tweets during the last three months.
The monetization of ads in tweet replies is a clear sign that Twitter wants to keep its creators glued to the platform, especially with Meta soon introducing branded content tools to Threads and allowing creators to make money out of ads.
Seems like the only bird worth catching is the one with a generous wallet. Who said all those witty tweets and clever hashtags go unrewarded?
