Instagram purges fake followers, likes, and comments
Instagram accounts that have been fattened up with artificial likes, comments, and followers are about to go on a diet. Instagram shared news that a machine learning update will be purging inauthentic likes, follows, and comments that have been leveraged through third-party programs.
The acquisition of these fake follows, likes, and comments have long been against Instagram’s community guidelines and now, with machine learning AI, they can finally track down and remove these inauthentic gains. Instagram said “Everyday people come to Instagram to have real experiences, including genuine interactions. It is our responsibility to ensure these experiences aren’t disrupted by inauthentic activity.”
