This might be too good to be true, but we might be soon going back to the good old days when Snapchat displayed updates based on real-time feeds!

The company is reportedly testing the previous chronological design for some users after its new design was roasted by many users, influencers and celebrities among the likes of Kylie Jenner, Christine Teigen and Jimmy John’s who haven’t held back their criticism of the new algorithm-determined feed.

While Snapchat hasn’t confirmed anything so far, the test suggests that the new design has badly impacted usage rates and instead of boosting users’ engagement by highlighting the best and most relevant content on the platform, it actually did the opposite. As a result, Snapchat is actually concerned and might finally consider a switch back to make their audience happy.
