Twitter is one step closer to becoming the first platform to implement paid premium features that have an impact on user experience.

The platform first announced the initial plans back in February, and now social media experts have found the first of these features that are still being tested:

• Tipping: leave a tip with real money to your favorite creators directly from a button in their profiles
• Super follow: access special features like newsletters, audio rooms, and exclusive content related to your favorite creators for a subscription fee

The closest system of premium features we have in a mainstream platform is Reddit, so we are excited to see how creators can directly monetize their content on Twitter.
