The tested feature in question, currently limited to English, sits quietly below the search bar, ready to be explored or ignored (yes, they’ve included an escape hatch for the trend-averse via Settings). Marked as “V1” and “Beta,” it’s Bluesky’s way of saying “We’re trying something new here, and we want to know what you think.”

With users scrolling through their feeds during holiday downtime, Bluesky picked the perfect moment to test its new social compass. 

As Bluesky continues to mature, this addition suggests a thoughtful balance between mainstream features and user autonomy.
