Brands are already sitting on the edge of their seats, eagerly awaiting the advertising gates to be flung wide open, so as to secure their ad space on the second fastest-growing app in the internet’s history.

However, sources suggest that Threads is working to make Instagram’s branded tools accessible for its user base, until the app achieves a certain level of mass adoption and paid promotions become a viable option. In the meantime, brands are advised to disclose paid partnerships through text or hashtags.
