In this case the ‘old man’ is all of us, because we bet you were not expecting Facebook to release their latest AI project, called TextStyleBrush, allowing you to copy any text style and then replicate it virtually, based on a single handwritten word. Yes, this includes your own illegible handwriting

For now, the project is just a prototype, but according to Facebook:

It could one day unlock new potential for creative self-expression like personalized messaging and captions, and lays the groundwork for future innovations like photo-realistic translation of languages in augmented reality (AR).

We cannot guarantee that TextStyleBrush is powerful enough to read your doctor’s notes, though.
