LinkedIn allows brands to sponsor UG newsletters

In a move that empowers both brands and content creators, LinkedIn is now allowing brands to sponsor user-generated newsletters on the platform, a month after launching sponsored newsletters for Company Pages.

In terms of technicalities, you can sponsor any newsletter via paid boost through Campaign Manager, and the sponsored newsletter will appear as a single image ad.

This exciting update provides brands with a valuable opportunity to reach a targeted audience beyond their own Company Page. By sponsoring high-quality, relevant newsletters created by influential thought leaders, brands and businesses can build credibility and better resonate with wider audiences. 

For content creators, the ability to attract brand sponsorships offers a new avenue for monetization and content amplification. 

Similar to LinkedIn’s existing “Thought Leader Ads” feature, this program requires the consent of the newsletter creator before their content can be sponsored. This ensures a collaborative approach that benefits both parties.
