LinkedIn expands its features for Company Pages

LinkedIn Pages will soon receive three new updates!

To begin with, LinkedIn is adding new tools that will enable admins to add SEO titles, tags, and descriptions when uploading their newsletter for heightened search visibility. LinkedIn explains this as follows:

When members search for your Page on LinkedIn, we’ll ensure they can easily find and subscribe to your Newsletter directly from the search results. To gain visibility and traffic when your audience is searching off LinkedIn, you can intentionally incorporate SEO best practices by setting your Article’s SEO titles, descriptions, and tags. And as your Page continues to grow, we’ll automatically send your new followers a notification to subscribe to your Newsletter.

As LinkedIn slowly edges towards its aspirations of becoming a premier B2B marketplace, it is also introducing new elements for its Product Pages to help brands showcase their tangible products and easily get discovered via in-app search. This will be couple with an additional Product Highlights feature for showcasing specific items within these Pages’ product ranges. 

This will undoubtedly boost product searchability, making it easier for products to be found and viewed by potential buyers, and will likely also help increase engagement with the brand overall.

Finally, LinkedIn will be rolling out new capabilities for its Competitor Analytics dashboard that will allow Pages to track their competitors’ follower growth, monitor their recent posts, and get a preview of their top trending content.
