LinkedIn refines algorithm to prioritize content
LinkedIn has overhauled its content distribution algorithm, focusing on promoting valuable and evergreen updates to promote enduring relevance over timeliness. The platform aims to encourage professionals to share niche knowledge, fostering longer-lasting posts.
Changes include no longer counting “read more” clicks as positive engagement signals and discouraging clickbait-style posts known as “broetry.”
Additionally, the platform is developing new CTA button options for user profiles and expanding its newsletter product.
