In a standout year for Meta’s AI initiatives, the company reveals significant updates. 

The “Imagine with Meta AI” text-to-image AI generator, powered by the Emu image-synthesis model, has expanded to become a standalone website. Initially accessible to selected users within Messenger chats, it has now evolved for broader use.

Moreover, AI chat personas of notable personalities, such as Kendall Jenner and Tom Brady, are now opening up to a wider user base, with a real-time discovery feature now available via Bing. To enhance its chatbots, Meta aims to implement “long-term memory,” promising more dynamic and context-aware conversations. 

In addition to these major updates, Meta is rolling-out smaller but impactful AI tweaks, including generative AI responses for posts and suggested replies in DMs.
