TikTok has expanded its “Add to Music app” feature to 163 new countries, allowing users to add songs featured in TikTok clips directly to their Apple Music and Spotify accounts. 

This feature was initially introduced in the United States and the United Kingdom before its global expansion. With the “Add to Music app” feature, users can choose their preferred music service and save the identified songs to a default playlist. 

TikTok’s collaboration with Spotify and other music platforms aligns with the trend of social media platforms partnering with streaming services to enrich the music discovery and sharing capabilities of their users.
