X’s latest bid to fix its revenue problem

X announced it’s splitting its Verified Organizations subscription into two different offerings: Premium Business and Premium Organizations. With pricing starting at $200 per month and scaling up to custom “Enterprise” rates, X is clearly betting on businesses to support its struggling revenue streams.
Premium Business: Three Tiers of Gold
X’s new Premium Business plan comes in three flavors, each with increasing features and price tags:
- Basic Tier – $200/month: Described as “the essentials to establish your business on X,” this entry-level tier gets you that coveted gold checkmark and some basic business tools.
- Full Access Tier – $1,000/month: This is where things get interesting. For five times the Basic price, you get affiliate badges to increase visibility, fast human support, priority handle claims (for inactive usernames), SuperGrok access, advanced impersonation defense, and early access to new features.
- Enterprise Tier – Custom Pricing: X describes this as offering “advanced tools, account management, and maximum support for your unique goals.” Translation: if you have to ask how much it costs, it’s probably a lot.
Premium Organizations: Government Gets Its Own Lane
The Premium Organizations tier, priced at $1,000 per month, has been renamed and is exclusively for governments and multilateral organizations. It comes with a grey checkmark to distinguish official institutions from commercial businesses.
And here’s a sweetener: for a limited time, subscribers receive 100% of their subscription fee back in advertising credits.
