YouTube dives into voice cloning
It seems YouTube is taking cues from TikTok and Meta.
The platform is working on a new feature called Dream Track, allowing select users to create music with AI-generated vocals from well-known artists.
Users can request a song by describing the mood or concept, and the AI will generate the music with song snippets up to 30 seconds long. Initially, nine artists (Charlie Puth, Demi Levato, John Legend, etc.) are lending their voices to the experiment, available to a small group of users.
In a bid to fend off competition, YouTube isn’t stopping at Dream Track; the platform has plans to roll out additional AI music tools later this year.
Tune in for more here.
