YouTube’s December shake-up
From AI-powered tools to longer Shorts, YouTube’s latest updates are redefining creativity and offering fresh opportunities for monetization.
Here’s what you need to know:
Shorts Are Growing Up
Videos up to 3 minutes long now fit seamlessly into the Shorts ecosystem, appearing across subscription feeds and channel pages. Want to keep your content traditional? Just upload in 16:9 format.
Streamlined Cross-Platform Sharing
Both Android and iOS users can now access the full suite of Shorts creation tools when sharing from other apps – trim, caption, and enhance videos without app-hopping.
Images in Quiz Posts
Android users can now spice up their Quiz posts with images in multiple-choice answers, viewable anywhere Community posts appear.
AI Enters The Scene
Featuring “Transform” and “DreamScreen,” two English-only tools helping creators to fine-tune text posts and generate images from prompts.
These features are being rolled out gradually, with availability depending on your region. Keep an eye on your YouTube Studio dashboard for updates!
