YouTube just dropped a handful of features that might make content creators rethink their entire strategy. Let's dive into what's cooking in YouTube's kitchen.
The Art of Quick Polling
Remember when getting audience feedback meant begging for comments or creating separate poll posts? Those days are officially over. YouTube has finally brought polls to Shorts, in sticker format.
The Great Views Divide
Ever wondered how many of your views come from Shorts versus your long-form content? YouTube's got your back. They're rolling out a new format filter that breaks down your views by content type. It's like getting X-ray vision into your channel's performance.
Super Chat Gets Gamified
YouTube is testing Super Chat goals for live streams and Premieres. Think of it as turning donations into a team sport, complete with on-screen countdowns and rewards.
Ad Control, At Your Fingertips
YouTube's also giving creators more control over ads from appearing on their content at a channel level. Now you can block specific ad categories right from YouTube Studio, no AdSense required.
