Ever gave up a conversation because of the confusing mesh of replies and threads on Twitter? The micro-blogging platform continues to fight tooth and nail to improve the experience to boost its on-platform engagement.

Twitter is currently testing labels, a new conversational option aimed to clarify tweet reply streams and make it easy for users to join conversations.

There are three labels currently being considered: “Author”, “Mentions” and “Following”.

Are they enough for you? In the announcement tweet, Twitter is encouraging users to share their feedback to be able to decide the next steps. It will be interesting to see how this will evolve.
