Snapchat tests Event

Snapchat is currently testing a new Event option that would enable users to create an event and invite their friends directly through the app. Users can include a number of details about the event within the feature, such as a name, time and location. There is also a group chat option for the invitees within the Event feature. In theory, the option seems a simpler version of Facebook’s Event Page. There are currently no details as to when this new functionality is going to roll out. Read more here.
