TikTok takes a bigger push into the realm of eCommerce

TikTok has made it clear: it’s going all wild with its online shopping ambitions!

The platform shall be rolling out its hot and new ‘Order Center’ panel as its latest push into reigning the eComm universe. 

The tracking hub can be found next to the ‘Edit Profile’ tab box. There you can delve into your TikTok shopping experiences including payment details, order history, items you have tagged, and merch recommendations. 

This recent update will definitely cause a shift in the industry, considering last week’s Facebook shuttering of its live-stream shopping experience on October 1, 2022. 

TikTok’s new ‘Order Center’ add-on is a natural move to increase its global market presence. As an alternative revenue-generating tool, this new functionality indeed spells lands of opportunities for creators to gauge on organic traffic and monetize content in the absence of in-stream ads.
