Facebook is testing a new ‘Do Not Disturb’ option
Just like Instagram rolled out its “All Caught Up” notification, Facebook is in the process of taking a similar step.
The social media giant is reportedly testing a new ‘Do Not Disturb’ option for both Facebook and Instagram, which would enable users to mute notifications for either a specific period, or entirely, to limit distractions.
While it seems out of place for Facebook to be actively giving users more options that would potentially reduce apps’ usage, the new option seems in line with the company’s new goal to focus more on meaningful interaction.
