Facebook tests ‘Schedule’ for Event Pages

The social media giant is testing a new option in the Event set-up that will enable organizers to add timings of activities taking place during an event, giving attendees a better way to organize their time.

The new option will be beneficial for event organizers and attendees. To illustrate, it will help organizers clearly highlight the event’s elements and their schedule, while attendees will be able to access the needed information in fewer clicks, and get a better idea of when they should get moving.

Event organizers will be able to add free and paid admission information on their event listing.

The new set-up, which is rolling out for all users currently, might be a good option to boost the platform’s revenue stream.
