With social media giants continuously trying to eat off each other’s plates, Instagram and Snapchat are currently testing a TikTok Duets-like feature.

Starting with Instagram, the platform is currently exploring a Remix feature for its Reels with some of its users. The option will allow users to post a side-by-side reaction clip to another user’s video.

The same goes for Snapchat, which is testing ‘Remix Snap’ within its response tools. The idea is exactly the same – users will be able to record their own reaction Snap next to the original one and share it with their Snap friends.

TikTok’s influence on new social updates amongst all the social media giants has been super impressive, and we are most likely going to continue seeing the imitation game going strong.
