Instagram’s new creator marketplace APIs
More from Meta’s Instagram, which has expanded access to parts of its creator marketplace via new APIs. The app is also testing integrations with top creator marketing platforms, such as Aspire, Influential, CreatorIQ and many more.
This expansion aims at streamlining talent management processes and facilitating content partnerships, by allowing branding agencies to continue using their own third-party platforms.
The first API allows brand managers to easily send DMs through a priority inbox that links their own influencer marketing softwares with the creator marketplace. Utilizing this messaging functionality ensures smoother brand-creator communication.
The second API also lets agencies publish project briefs to the creator marketplace directly from third-party platforms. This functionality is supported by Instagram’s matchmaking algorithms to help companies hunt for the right talents.
