With the summer travel season knocking on doors again after a pandemic, Snapchat introduced its new ‘Dynamic Travel Ads’, looking to help travel advertisers reach vacationers with personalized ads.
‘Dynamic Travel Ads’ will promote travel destinations by matching offers from a business’ catalog as per users’ interests. It’s based on places they had visited and products they had previously viewed using Snap pixels, Snapchat’s internal data and activity tracking.
As explained by Snapchat:
“Dynamically retarget users who have been to your site or app before with hotel properties, destinations or flight routes that are most interesting to them.”
These ads will offer unique benefits to travel advertisers; namely:
- Advanced audience targeting based on a Snapchatter’s travel intent and backed by local relevance.
- Locally-relevant campaign delivery to serve hotels, airlines, destinations, and tours based on popularity, leveraging Snapchat’s rich visitation data.
- Customized Catalog setup that’s built to meet the travel advertisers’ needs, with relevant product feed attributes that are specific to these businesses.
‘Dynamic Travel Ads’ are now available globally to all travel advertisers.
