Meta rolls out more features for its Reels

With Reels becoming the core focus of its apps, Meta has announced a set of new features to enhance the overall experience and push for more usage. The updates include longer Reels clips, interactive stickers, audio imports and editing options.

First off, you can now upload up to 90-second Reels clips, which is an upgrade from the current 60-second limit. While it is still relatively lower than TikTok’s clips’ length, it could potentially make a huge difference for content creators.

Instagram is also bringing some of your favorite Stories’ stickers to Reels, specifically Poll, Quiz, and Emoji slider stickers. This will push for more interactions on a Reels clip.

Furthermore, the platform is enhancing its audio options, adding an audio import feature that will enable creators to upload their own track directly within the Reels creation process. ‘Sound Sync’ is another option that will be coming soon, which will allow users to automatically sync their Reels clip to the beat of a chosen track.

Finally, Meta is launching ‘Templates’ and many more features to make the Reels creation process easier.
