Twitter allows users to ‘turn off retweets’

Some accounts on Twitter tweet great content, but their taste in retweets leaves something to be desired.

Well, Twitter has finally announced a solution for that, with a new option in settings that will allow users to turn off retweets – enabling you to follow an account without seeing their retweets.

Twitter explains how to do that as follows:

If you like an account’s Tweets, but would rather not see their Retweets, you can turn them off. Head over to the profile, tap the “∙∙∙” icon, and then “Turn off Retweets.”

So go on and start turning those annoying retweets off, you deserve a cleaner timeline!
