New friends, close friends, or best friends – we all have a circle of people who genuinely enrich our lives in various ways!

Twitter is currently testing ‘Circle’, a new option that will allow users to share tweets with a specific, customized group of their followers – one that is similar to Instagram’s ‘Close Friends’.

Twitter announces the new feature as follows:

“Some Tweets are for everyone & others are just for people you’ve picked. We’re now testing Twitter Circle, which lets you add up to 150 people who can see your Tweets when you want to share with a smaller crowd. Some of you can create your own Twitter Circle beginning today!”
