Just like videoconferencing companies such as Zoom & Cisco Webex allow you to record your calls, Twitter now also allows you to record your Spaces. This update will allow the audio to be available for public playback for 30 days. 

Recording will help brands reach more audiences and will also allow them to leverage the content even further by downloading the Space and editing the audio to turn it into more pieces of content, including a podcast.

Spaces has played a major part in helping grow the platform in 2021, and we are now seeing a further emphasis on audio as we move into 2022.
