Twitter is making changes to its direct messaging interface with different updates, starting with some form of group DMs functionality. With this update, users will be able to DM a tweet to multiple people at once. In addition, users can sort group messages by the day they were last active. Finally, the latest update is allowing users to pin up to six conversations for easier access.

Twitter is expected to reveal more features since it acquired two messaging companies towards the end of 2021. One of them is Sphere, a London-based group chat app, and the other one is called Quill.
